We handle the heavy lifting — but a little prep on your end makes delivery day smooth and stress-free. Here's exactly what you need to know.
We Deliver Across the Southeast US
ReliaBox delivers to Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. We use tilt-bed trucks that can place containers on most residential and commercial properties — no crane required in most cases.
Next-day delivery is available in many areas. Once you submit a quote request, our team will confirm availability and schedule a delivery window that works for you.

Site Requirements
Please review these before your delivery date. Meeting these requirements helps us get your container placed safely and on time.
Straight-Line Clearance
Plan for 60–75 ft of straight-line clearance for a 20ft container, and 100–120 ft for a 40ft container. More space may be needed depending on terrain and approach angle.
Gate & Driveway Width
A minimum 12 ft clear opening is required — 14–16 ft is preferred, especially if the driver needs to turn through the entrance. Measure the actual usable opening, not fence post to fence post.
Overhead Clearance
Minimum 14–16 ft of overhead clearance along the entire delivery path, with 18–20 ft preferred in the unloading area. The container tilts during unloading, so there must be no overhead obstructions directly above the placement spot. Check for power lines, tree limbs, building overhangs, and cables.
Firm, Level Ground
The delivery area must be level, compacted, and capable of supporting a loaded truck and container. Avoid sugar sand, loose sand, deep gravel, mud, recently disturbed soil, saturated ground, or uncompacted fill — trucks can easily sink or lose traction on these surfaces.
Slopes & Turns
Steep grades, sharp elevation changes, ditches, drop-offs, or significant side slopes must be disclosed before scheduling. Delivery trucks also need considerably more turning radius than a passenger vehicle — please let us know about tight turns, narrow entrances, culverts, bridges, or restricted driveways.
Underground & Overhead Utilities
The delivery route and placement area must avoid septic tanks, drain fields, wells, irrigation systems, buried pipes, and other underground structures. You are responsible for identifying all underground and overhead utilities before delivery.
Weight-Bearing Surfaces
Confirm that your driveway, culverts, bridges, and any other surfaces along the delivery route can support the weight of a loaded delivery truck. This includes areas over septic systems or underground structures.
Clear Path & Property Access
Move vehicles, trailers, equipment, low branches, and debris before the driver arrives. Gates should be unlocked. If your property is in a gated community, HOA, or on a private road, confirm that we have permission to access it before scheduling.

Schedule Your Delivery
Once you approve the quote, we'll lock in a delivery date. Next-day delivery is available in most of our service area.
Prep Your Site
Review the site requirements and clear the delivery path. Mark your placement spot and have the foundation ready if possible.
Container Delivered
Our driver arrives in the scheduled window, places the container using a tilt-bed truck, and you sign off. That's it — you're done.
Placement Tips
- Decide which direction you want the container doors to face before delivery day — let us know during scheduling so the driver can plan the approach.
- Mark the exact placement spot with spray paint, stakes, or cones before the driver arrives. On larger properties or job sites, this makes a big difference.
- Prepare the foundation ahead of time. Compacted gravel, concrete, railroad ties, or container blocks/piers are ideal for keeping the container level and protected from ground moisture.
- Check with your local municipality, HOA, and zoning office about permits and setback requirements — especially if the container will be on-site for more than 30 days.
A Note on Driver Discretion
Our drivers have final say on whether a site can be safely accessed and whether the requested placement can be completed without risk to people, property, or equipment. If the requested location can't be safely reached, be prepared to approve an alternative spot on your property. Additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to site conditions that weren't disclosed, inaccurate access information, or the customer not being prepared for delivery. If a truck becomes stuck because it was directed onto unsuitable ground against the driver's recommendation, the customer is responsible for towing and recovery costs.
Common Questions
Do you offer next-day delivery?
Yes — next-day delivery is available in most of our Southeast service area. Select "Next day (rush delivery)" when submitting your quote request and we'll confirm availability for your zip code.
What if my driveway is narrow, soft, or has tight turns?
Contact us before scheduling and describe your access situation — or better yet, send us photos or a video. In some cases we can work with you on an alternate drop point near your property line.
What happens if I'm not home when the driver arrives?
A customer or authorized representative should be available if needed. If no one is available and the driver can't complete the drop, a rescheduling fee may apply. Contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
What if the weather is bad on delivery day?
Heavy rain can make an otherwise accessible property undeliverable. Our driver reserves the right to reschedule when ground or weather conditions create a safety or recovery risk. We'll contact you as early as possible if this happens.
